COURTLAND BROOKS - May 14 - A friend just asked me about calendaring tools. Here's my advice to him...
__
There's a few options. I've opted for ScheduleOnce.com. I set up three calendars and connected them up to domains that link into specific calendars. Saves me so much time.
- Use Koltu.com for general appts. This calendar doesn't allow Monday or Friday meetings.
- I use eTwitter.com for press appts. This calendar allows meetings 5 days a week, and goes later into the day.
- I use Mivot.com for one hour paid consults.
Saves a couple hours a month of to and fro.
You could also use Calendly.com, which seems to be more common. But, I don't think you can set up a paid consulting session. Not sure. Also, there's x.ai which claims to use AI to go back and forth, but I find it a tad annoying to set up, and for users. So I'd recommend ScheduleOnce.com really.
The trick is to make sure you always keep your calendar up to date. Then you can just let people book on your calendar directly, and save some braincycles for other more important stuff, not to mention your admin. This is the one job my admin always hated doing, so I automated it entirely. Now everyone is happier.
Also, I use the "Magical" chrome plugin to speed up insertion of meeting maker text in emails.
